Where are you located?
I'm based in South Bel Air, MD and serve families across Harford County, Maryland and Central Pennsylvania- including Harrisburg, near where I grew up. I'm happy to travel for both birth and newborn sessions- just ask!
Can I have a birth photographer in the hospital?
Yes! Most hospitals allow a birth photographers as part of your support team. Policies vary, so I recommend checking with your provider to confirm how many people are allowed in the delivery room.
When is the best time to have a session with a newborn?
I recommend scheduling newborn sessions within the first 48 hours (Fresh 48) or between 5-14 days old for in-home lifestyle sessions. During this time babies are still very sleepy and have their natural curl, your story is fresh and full of emotion.
Why hire a birth photographer?
Birth is intense, emotional and fleeting. A professional birth photographer captures the tears, first breaths and tender touches- so you don't have to worry about missing a moment. These images become powerful, lasting memories for your family.
Do you photograph anyone outside of maternity, birth, newborn and family?
I do! I also offer proposals, small elopement and pregnancy announcement photography.
Will birth photography be intrusive?
Not at all. My approach is calm and respectful. I move quietly and intuitively, so you can stay present in your birth space while I document every meaningful detail without disruption.
Do you offer any other services for new parents?
Absolutely! I offer the following additional support services:
Infant Sleep Consulting: Gentle, personalized guidance to help your infant (and you!) get better sleep. You can book a sleep session on its own or bundle it with newborn photography.
Nursery Design & Setup: Need help creating a calming, functional and beautiful nursery? I offer hands-on nursery staying and setup services to bring your vision to life- whether you need full design support or just finishing touches.
